Description
This arrangement of “The First Noel” was written by Dan Forrest in 2009. It has since become a favorite of church, university, and community choirs. Sheet Music Plus named it an Editor’s Pick in 2015, 2017, and 2018. It is available for SATB, SSA, and TTB with piano accompaniment. There’s also an orchestral accompaniment available if you happen to have access to an orchestra (wouldn’t that be nice!).
This is a lovely arrangement—reverent, powerful, worshipful; I encourage you to take a look and a listen. The publisher has kindly provided a PDF preview version here. There are also links to recordings and to the other voicings here. If you have some money in your budget, I highly recommend getting a set of this arrangement for your choir. It’s sure to be an annual favorite.
