“Stars Were Gleaming” has been included in Latter-day Saint children’s songbooks since the 1950s. The melody is taken from a Polish carol that is known by the name “Infant Holy, Infant Lowly” in English. Steven Smith’s arrangement adds a verse and some choral harmonies. The first two verses are unison and could be sung by children (or a mix of children and adults). He has also added an alleluia section. (And it’s free!)
